Who will win us over? Audiences near and far can cast their votes online for the Audience Award, and both the jury and each of the NBS orchestras will also select their winners in this last round of the competition.
In this final round, the candidates will compete in teams. After a week working with the stage director and the orchestra from Nordic Baroque Scene, the contestants will perform short scenes from an opera or another dramatic work in Stormen’s great hall. These scenes will be set in a simple, minimalistic manner to make the challenge even greater. Victoria Bomann-Larsen is stage director, and the performance is led by Concerto Copenhagen’s concertmaster Fredrik From and one of the Finnish Baroque Orhestra’s artistic leaders, harpsichordist Petteri Pitko.
The programme will be announced when the jury has selected the repertoire to suit the teams.
